What Would the Ponies Carry? (The Most Important Article Ever)

     One thing I like about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is how the main cast is so diverse and well-developed.  You often see people guessing what type of car each character would drive, because their personalities stand out so much from each other.  Also, since Bronies love to combine their interest in this girls’ show with their darker obsessions, I’ve decided to make this list guessing which handguns the ponies would carry if they could.

BIG ADVENTURE…

Rainbow Dash – Desert Eagle .50AE

Rainbow Dash would only have the biggest, most awesome gun she could get her hooves on.  It may not be the most practical handgun, but it’s not like Rainbow needs a gun to kick anypony’s ass.

 Pinkie Pie – Shevchenko Psh-4

Pinkie never leaves home without her party cannon and she would need a gun that’s just as odd as she is (or she could just pick Twilight up and use her as a gun).  The Psh-4 has many weird attributes, not the least of which is that it’s designed so that the slide locks back before the last shot rather than after it, for reasons I'm sure make sense to Pinkie.

Rarity – Beretta 92FS

If there’s any modern firearm that’s a beautiful work of art, it’s the Beretta.  Rarity would not settle for a less than fabulous firearm.  She would also add some customizations to it, as well.

Applejack – Ruger P90

The Ruger is just the gun for Applejack.  Big, rugged, economical and reliable with no frills.  I’m sure she can handle its size and power as well.

Fluttershy – Walther PPK w/Suppressor

I’m not sure if Shy is the gun-toting type, but I suspect she’d want something small, quiet and dainty as she is.  The .380 might not have much stopping power, but she can still kick your ass if she needs to.

Twilight Sparkle - Glock

The Glock is all work and no play.  Twilight would probably want a weapon that’s efficient and reliable, even if it doesn’t look particularly glamorous.
